Transferring mid-year is a fast-paced process but we are here to support you every step of the way.

Parent Survival Skills 101
Save the Date for this helpful family event in the Welcome Center

Our annual Parent Survival Skills 101 event is on Thursday evening, July 11, in the Welcome Center. This presentation is an opportunity for parents/guardians to have questions answered with regard to technology, textbooks, dress code, and more. No RSVP is needed.

This event is not mandatory, and while targeted to our new families, any current family is welcome to attend if they wish.

Transfer Student – CIF Eligibility Paperwork

Any transfer, once they have been accepted as a student and completed registration, that is planning to participate in athletics at Jesuit High School must complete the following steps to ensure their athletic eligibility for all upcoming seasons.

1. Print and fill out – CIFSJS Certification

2. Please send the CIFSJS Certification to Robin Cummings

So, how does this work?

All students are required to have a portable computer device. Families will be able to purchase a device of their own choosing. The links below provide specification requirements and offer examples of approved devices to help families make informed decisions. Please consider the following steps before purchasing a device for your family:

Before school, we host Survival Skills 101 — an interactive session for new families with school administration and staff. This presentation is an opportunity for parents/guardians to have questions answered in regard to technology, textbooks, dress code, and more.

Dress Code & Personal Appearance Policy
Includes examples and dress policies for standard, casual and dress attire

Jesuit High School believes that student appearance has an impact on attitude and behavior. It is the responsibility of parents to see that their student is properly dressed and groomed for school. Students are expected to adhere to the dress code throughout the school day and they are to be properly groomed at school-sponsored events. Violations will result in detention (JUG). Students found to be in flagrant or repeated violation may be denied entrance into class and/or sent home from school.

What do the Class Colors Mean on the Candle?
What they symbolize for each class

Each year the classes have a Farewell liturgy where they “pass” the colors on to the upcoming class. It begins for freshmen at their first Mass of the Holy Spirit. These colors are reflected in the candles used at class masses, retreats, and graduation. These candles represent a four-year journey that you begin in September.

A symbol of learning. Freshmen are called to learn our history and traditions and to embrace with patient trust the journey ahead.
