We applaud you!
Because of you we had a successful Auction season
Instead of gathering in the gym with fellow Jesuit supporters, you gazed into a computer screen. We know it wasn’t easy, but you remained committed to helping Jesuit Sacramento’s mission move forward to make the 48th Annual Jesuit Auction a success.
Jesuit’s 48th Annual Auction, “Meet Me in Madrid,” was held on Saturday, March 28, 2020. Although we were unable to bring Madrid to life in person in the Barry Gymnasium due to the health concerns surrounding COVID-19, we transformed our Auction to a completely virtual experience, which allowed us to invite our entire community, no matter their location, to this year’s auction.
The support for the Jesuit Online Auction was tremendous as, together, we raised more than $665,000 for the school! The Auction benefits each student by providing a high-level education, robust co-curricular activities, excellent visual and performing arts programs and tuition assistance—all of which is not possible through tuition alone.
The Auction’s success was due in large part to the tireless efforts of our Auction chairs, Kristin Beard King and Matt King. Their dedication to the cause was paramount to achieving our goals. To the countless volunteers that worked hundreds of hours leading up to the big day, we thank you! Without your energy and enthusiasm, the Auction would not have been possible. And, finally, to the hundreds of people that participated in the online auction, we owe you a sincere debt of gratitude. In these challenging times, Jesuit remains blessed with an extremely supportive community.
