Jesuit students, families, faculty, and alums are welcome!
This special assembly will welcome Laiatu Latu ’19 and his family back to campus to celebrate his momentous achievement, along with representatives of the Lombardi Award committee and Rotarians.
A UCLA football defensive end, Latu was the winner of the 50th Annual Lombardi Award, which goes annually to the college football offensive lineman/tight end or defensive lineman/linebacker who exemplifies the character and discipline of NFL Hall of Fame Head Coach Vince Lombardi in addition to outstanding performance and ability. His total of 13.0 sacks was the highest by any player in the Pac-12. Latu was UCLA’s first-ever winner of the Lombardi Award.
