The JV Gold Soccer team had their first away game this weekend against El Camino. The Eagles anticipated a tough match, starting five in their defensive line. At the 11th minute, the Marauders began their assault. Elijah Gula found a running Matthew Sauls who scored on the run.  Ten minutes later Donovan Carrillo passed it to Nolan Rodriguez who scored. In the 25th minute Jake Warren passed a long cross- and as the keeper came out, Alexander Maguire was there to slam it home. Just before half, Carrillo found the net off a corner kick from Rodriguez. Campbell Carter came out fighting in the second half and scored unassisted right away. Maguire got his assist in the 50th minute when he found Aaron Chou in traffic. With 15 minutes to go during this windy game, Michael Roush dumped it off at the last second to Aaron Chou who scored the last goal of the game. The Eagles never threatened.
