This is another 3-game week for the JV Red. On Monday, Pleasant Grove visited the muddy Jesuit upper field. Less than two minutes into the game, Diego Perez was taken down in the box and awarded a PK. He took his own shot, and made his first Jesuit goal count.  Neither team mounted many offensive threats in the first half. In the second half, play continued to be mainly in the middle of the field, although the Marauders did a better job controlling play. Finally, the Marauders had a little breathing room after Alexander Maguire cleaned up a bobbled keeper save. The Marauders were able to keep the Eagles at Bay. Next up this week, Franklin away, and a rematch against Cosumnes Oaks at home.
