Community Period Speakers for 2022-2023 year
Sister Thea Bowman’s life was one full of enduring faith and persevering prayer even in the midst of racial prejudice, cultural insensitivity and debilitating illness. This ongoing justice series, as in previous years, will honor her work with story-driven justice education in the following format:
- Encounter – stories from those who are directly impacted by this issue of injustice
- Educate – speakers to provide context and data
- Engage – opportunities to get involved and advocate for
change
