During college, I worked in the classroom at both private and public schools.  Here, I found an interest in understanding student’s strengths and needs so I could help them not only succeed, but enjoy their education. I was drawn to the field of school counseling because of its comprehensive nature and the opportunity to help kids achieve their dreams. After graduating with a degree in Family Studies, I pursued a Master of Science in Educational Counseling and a Pupil Personnel Services Credential. I spent my first 11 years as a seventh through twelfth grade counselor at a charter school where I provided academic, social/emotional, and college planning support. This experience deepened my belief in serving each student as an individual on their own path. I am grateful to now counsel at Jesuit High School. In the spirit of cura personalis, I enjoy getting to know my students so I can support their intellectual and personal growth during their high school journey.
