My love for working with students in a school setting began with my B.A. degree in Child Development. After my undergraduate, I was employed with River Oaks Treatment Center as a counselor working with adolescents. I began my Masters in Educational Counseling in 1997 and graduated in 1999. I also earned a Pupil Personnel Counseling Credential.  From there, I worked as a Middle School Alcohol/Drug Prevention Specialist for two schools in San Juan Unified School District. My school counseling background includes six years at a charter school, along with two Sacramento public high schools. I began working at Jesuit High School in the fall of 2007. I feel truly fortunate to have experience in a variety of school settings.
