Celebrating 50 years of the Jesuit Auction
Remembering a season of events

Jesuit Magazine Summer 22

Grand Gala

The Jesuit community was elated to, once again, gather together in the Fr. Barry Gymnasium to support the school. Celebrating 50 years of the Jesuit Auction with “A Grand Gala,” nearly 600 people gathered for an incredible evening of community, fun and, of course, fundraising.
Together, with the generosity of parents, alumni, and community benefactors, vital funds were raised to continue to support the extraordinary Jesuit High School students.

The Auction was chaired by Christine Dariotis who has a heart for philanthropy and a long history with Jesuit. Christine has four family members that attended Jesuit over the years and her son, Luke, is currently a sophomore in the class of 2025. Her passion for the school was evident throughout the year as she worked tirelessly to bring new supporters for the school and incredible auction items. Jesuit is grateful for her generosity of her time, talent and treasure to have made this the most successful auction in our history.

Kick-off Coffee

The Jesuit campus quad was the perfect setting to kick off the Auction for the 2021-2022 year. At this Fall event, the theme was revealed and our Auction Chair, Christine Dariotis, was introduced in late fall. Parents from all classes came to socialize with morning refreshments and learn more about getting involved in the biggest fundraiser of the year.

Art Event

The Sacramento community is bursting with top-tier artists whose work is world-renowned. The event was blessed to have an incredible community of artists that support Jesuit. Featuring such talent as Pat Mahony, David Post, Mark Bowles and Miles Hermann, the Jesuit Art Event has quickly become one of the most exciting and “show-stopping” annual events
of the Fall season.

Bubbles & Bites

Jesuit moms, alumni moms and fellow supporters were treated to a festive holiday evening at the home of Christine Dariotis. Everyone enjoyed specialty bubbles, charcuterie platters and lively conversation—all in the name of supporting Jesuit.

Godfather Dinner

Kevin and Julie Sloat (Jackson ’23) graciously hosted an exquisite evening of steak, cigars and bourbon. They generously opened up their home in early March to Jesuit dads, alums and fellow supporters to gather together for a dinner fit for a king.

Bingo

Our community gathered their bingo boards, lucky charms and customized party boxes to partake in an evening of friendly competition. Over 125 people joined us online for four rounds of bingo, complete with special guest callers and great Jesuit branded prizes. This was a fun evening that people of all ages participated in and came together to support Jesuit.
