Jesuit wins Commissioner’s Cup for Fourth Year
CIF-SJS award for most successful athletic program
Jesuit is honored to share that our school was awarded the California Interscholastic Federation Sac-Joaquin Section Commissioner’s Cup for the fourth time in the five years the award has been given. The Commissioner’s Cup is a program designed to recognize the top all-around athletic programs in the Section based on comprehensive excellence in interscholastic competition. This award signifies the hard work that our players, coaches, and parents give throughout the year.
Our athletic success over the years has been encouraged by the great competition we face each year from schools across the state. These competitors push our athletes and coaches to work harder and strive to be better. We welcome the opportunity to show all who witness our teams compete what is possible when talent and desire combine in response to a challenge.
The athletic program at Jesuit is one example of our commitment to our student’s development and excellence in all we do. The commitment begins with the belief that a positive experience for each student-athlete is crucial. Additionally, we hope that our student-athletes understand how to work for something greater than themselves, know their effort matters, and believe they are worthy of God’s love.
Ultimately, the development of each student’s character is at the heart of what we do, and participation in the athletic program is a powerful instrument for this goal. We are grateful for the support of parents, alumni, benefactors, and friends of Jesuit High School.
Congratulations to all our teams for maintaining excellence on and off the field year after year!
