Jesuit proceeded to drive down the field in under a minute to kick a 20-yard field goal, tying the score at 3-3 going into halftime.

With 10 minutes left in the third quarter, linebacker Jack Patock ’25 intercepted a pass from Oak Ridge quarterback Phoenix Hester, giving Jesuit the ball on their own 39-yard line. The Trojan defense bounced back, recovering a fumble on Jesuit’s 8-yard line before running it in for a touchdown on the next play to break the tie and giving Oak Ridge a 10-3 lead.

On Jesuit’s next possession, the Marauders failed to convert on a tough fourth down, turning the ball over to the Trojans, which led to a 20-yard touchdown pass. This extended their lead to 16-3 with one minute to go in the third quarter.
