A discovery approach is used with intensive hands-on experience through laboratory experiments. The course content includes the following topics: cells, functioning plants and animals, genetics, evolution, energy and life, ecosystems, and ecology. Chemistry

This class is laboratory-oriented. It includes metric measurement, general inorganic chemistry, formula writing, balancing of equations, the mole concept, atomic structure, heats of reactions, chemical equilibrium, organic and nuclear chemistry. Please be sure to consult with the Academic Counselors at your school to be sure that this course is a good fit for you and that they will accept our credits.
Pre-Requisite:
Jesuit students: Must have completed Algebra I with a C+ or
better and Biology
Non-Jesuit students: Successful completion of Algebra I and
Geometry OR Integrated Math 1 and 2 AND Biology

Physics
June 11 - July 19: 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Physics is the study of matter and energy. Course content includes motion, force, energy, momentum, waves, light, electricity and magnetism. Laboratory experiments and individual projects are an integral part of the course.
Pre-Requisite:
Jesuit students: Must have completed Chemistry.
Non-Jesuit students: Completion of Algebra I and Algebra II OR
Integrated Math 1, 2, and 3.
