Human Trafficking Awareness Speaker Event – Welcome Center (2:00pm)

Listen to speakers from the Sacramento Sheriff’s Department and regional medical professionals who work with victims.

Did you know Sacramento is the fourth largest human trafficking market in the United States and our students are being targeted via social media and other means to participate? Learn more about human trafficking in Sacramento and how it is impacting everyone including the Sacramento Catholic school communities. Learn how to prevent unsuspecting teens from getting caught up in a dangerous life that is incredibly prevalent in our neighborhoods.

The Community period presentation will be focused on students. A general evening presentation will be held at 6:00pm in the Harris Center. All members of our Sacramento Catholic school community (Jesuit, St. Francis, Christian Brothers, and Cristo Rey high schools — including their faculty, staff, parents, and students) are encouraged to attend.
