The required Service & Justice hours’ first-semester deadline is December 20. The following are the benchmark requirements for each grade level at the quarter/semester deadline:

• Freshmen: 6 hours during the semester the student is enrolled in Theology 1 (3 hours from Freshman Day of Service + 3 hours on own time that semester)
• Sophomores: 8 hours (16 total for the year)
• Juniors: 10 hours (20 total for the year)

As this is a graduation requirement, Service & Justice hours are graded on a pass/fail basis.  The students’ Service & Justice Classroom pages have all the information and resources needed to succeed, but students should reach out to the Office of Service & Justice if they have any questions.
