During this time of Covid-19, we must modify our Senior Kairos Retreat. Given the restrictions on holding off-campus, overnight retreats, we have created a meaningful 3-day retreat experience which will be held on-campus during second semester. The retreats will be led by faculty, staff, and others who have made a Senior Retreat in the past.  

Retreat schedule

In order to attend the retreat students must participate in the on-campus Covid screening the day before their retreat begins. Dinner Friday evening, lunch and dinner Saturday, and lunch on Sunday will be provided. Retreatants are required to attend the entire retreat in person, leaving campus only at the end of each day to return home to sleep and have breakfast the next morning. There is no fee to attend this optional retreat.

Retreat #1: March 5-7

March 5, 3:30-9:00 pm, March 6, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, March 7, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Retreat #2: March 26-28

March 26, 3:30-9:00 pm, March 27, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, March 28, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Retreat #3: April 23-25

April 23, 3:30-9:00 pm, April 24, 9:00 am – 9:00 pm, April 25, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

Why should I go on a Senior Retreat?

During your final semester we invite you to step out of the day-to-day routine and take time reflect on your experience, redefine or recommit to your values, and move forward from Jesuit High School with a sense of purpose and direction. During the retreat you will examine three key relationships. In looking at oneself, others, and God, you will consider the person you are becoming and how you can grow more fully into who God is calling you to be. You will explore how you can see God in everyday life using the lens of your spirituality and values.  

How do I apply?

Seniors who registered for Kairos 150 (which had to be canceled last spring) or are serving on the Senior Retreat Team have received an email with their priority registration link. The balance of our Seniors will receive an email registration link on Monday, February 8. 

As with all things during this time of changing restrictions and opportunities, our plans will continue to be subject to the guidance and requirements of the state, county, Diocese and Jesuit High School Administration. Let us continue to pray for restored health and wellness!
