Michael Wood ’99
Principal

Michael Wood is the principal at Jesuit High School. He began his career in Jesuit Secondary Education at Loyola High School in Los Angeles where he spent 12 years as a Theology teacher and Dean of Students.

Michael graduated from Jesuit in 1999 and he shared his motivation for accepting for the position as Jesuit’s principal noting that “It is an honor to return to my alma mater as a leader and colleague to share my strengths, experiences, and passion with the Jesuit ministry of my origin.”

Four Marauders are National Merit Finalists
A distinction that places them among the top 1% of seniors nationwide

Congratulations to seniors Charles Diaz, James Irwin, Robert Lee, and Matthew Mellas on advancing to Finalist standing in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Our Marauders are among an elite group of about 15,000 students nationwide – less than 1% of the nation’s graduating seniors.

All money raised at the Auction goes directly to impact our students and ensure a Jesuit education is accessible to all!

Your year is almost here! More information to carry you through summer and on to your first day of school.

We are excited to have you join the Jesuit High School community! You are about to embark on a four-year journey where we hope that you will explore new opportunities, grow as a young man and embody the “Man for Others” spirit.

We hope the information on this page will answer any questions. Please check back regularly as more information becomes available!

Parents/Guardians get your basic “Survival Skills” at the event on July 11, 2024 at 6:00pm in the Welcome Center.
