Dear Parents, Students, Faculty, and Staff

Congratulations Class of 2022! A reminder to our returning families that we will switch to a monthly update over the summer—June 15 and July 15.

A few upcoming dates to keep in mind:

  • May 30, Memorial Day Holiday
  • June 8, Summer School, the first session begins 

Finally, it is sad to say that we cannot send this final Weekly Update for the 2021-2022 school year without acknowledging the terrible school shooting in Uvalde, Texas this week. Our hearts, thoughts, prayers, and condolences go out to the families and staff of Robb Elementary School, along with the entire Ulvade community.

As educators and parents, we are deeply saddened and pained by the senseless violence and lives lost.  Without exception, we believe children should be fundamentally safe at school. 

Please join us in continuing to pray for those who were killed in this horrendous tragedy, also the others before it, and for the comfort of all those who mourn. For the nineteen children and two adults who lost their lives in Uvalde we offer the Church’s traditional prayer for the dead.

Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and may your perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
