Dress Code Reminders for Cool Weather, Winter Sports Info
Stay in Dress Code During Sweater Weather
As the leaves start to change color and the weather outside is a bit cooler, our students start to reach for their sweatshirts and jackets. Help make sure they are warm and in dress code by taking advantage of the different options to purchase Jesuit gear.
Remember
- Pants: Solid-color, chino or khaki pants are the only approved pants. The following styles of pants are not permitted under Jesuit’s dress code: jogger-style pants, cargo pants, excessively baggy shorts or pants, athletic shorts, and sweatpants of any kind.
- Sweatshirts: Only JHS-authorized sweatshirts, windbreakers, and other outerwear with the Jesuit logo may be worn to school.
- Jackets/Outerwear: A heavy and/or rain protective non-JHS-authorized jacket is allowed, however, the student must be wearing his JHS-authorized collared shirt under his jacket.
- Hats: Only JHS-authorized hats or head coverings may be worn to school. No hat, hood, or other head covering is allowed in class.
- Shoes: Any type of conventional closed-toe and closed-heel footwear may be worn, including athletic/tennis shoes. Shoes may not be worn as sandals
Students have been reminded that anyone out of dress code will receive JUG and may be held out of class until appropriate dress code items can be delivered to campus by a parent or guardian. Thank you for your assistance in reminding our boys about these policies.
