How to grow grit in times of uncertainty
Building a mental health "tool kit" for teens and their parents
A special webinar curated for Jesuit Sacramento. Recorded on October 28, 2020, 6pm – 8pm
Times are uncertain – do you have the tools to navigate through? Physically and emotionally it can be tough, but we have tips to help build a mental health “tool kit” for teens and their parents.
Join Jesuit Wellness, TeamCARE, and Mr. Jamie Tworkowski, founder of the organization To Write Love on Her Arms, for a specialized webinar curated for our community. Jamie spoke to our families on mental health for young men. He is the author of the book “If You Feel Too Much” (2015). Jamie strongly encourages our young men to watch with their parent(s)/guardian(s).
This is a unique invitation to learn from an outspoken mental
health advocate on how to grow grit in times of uncertainty (such
as this pandemic). He will speak to the struggles students are
facing physically and emotionally. His goal will be to normalize,
to promote hope, and to speak to the opportunity to build a
mental health tool kit as a teen.
