Robert Ahern ’74
Trustee
Bob Ahern is a 1974 graduate of Jesuit High School. His two sons also graduated from Jesuit: Robbie in 2002 and Jon in 2018.
Bob earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with a concentration in Accounting from CSUS in 1979, and earned his Masters Degree in Taxation from Golden Gate University in 1989.
Kelly Brothers ’82

Few have been able to rise to the top of their professions in radio, television and finance. At various points in his 30 year broadcast career, Kelly Brothers has anchored the number one evening newscast in Sacramento on KCRA-TV and the number one morning news show on News 93.1 KFBK.
He is currently a Partner and Financial Advisor at Genovese Burford & Brothers, a firm which specializes in wealth management and retirement plans. Kelly is also the Financial Expert for both KCRA-TV and News 93.1 KFBK.
Greg Burke ’73
Trustee
Greg Burke is a licensed certified public accountant who has served small to medium-sized businesses and their owners in the Sacramento area since 1984. Greg began his career with the Internal Revenue Service in 1978, leaving to join John Waddell & Company, CPAs. He became a shareholder in the Firm in 1989, leaving at the end of 2016 to start his own firm, Gregory M. Burke, CPA, A Professional Accountancy Corporation, where he continues to serve Sacramento’s business community.
Rev. Christopher Calderón, S.J.
Trustee
Rev. Christopher Calderón, SJ, Trustee, was born and raised in South Los Angeles where he attended Loyola High School of Los Angeles. It was there that he met the Jesuits. He then earned a bachelor’s degree in Latin American studies with minors in Spanish and theology from the University of San Francisco. After graduation, he joined the Jesuits in 2006 and was ordained a priest in 2017.
Kawanaa D. Carter, M.D.
Trustee
Dr. Kawanaa D. Carter-Cotton graduated from the University of California at Berkeley in 1992 with a Bachelors degree in Neuroscience. For one year, Dr. Carter worked in a developmental biology lab and later enrolled in the University of California’s Department of Biochemisty and Biophysics graduate program.
In 1995, Dr. Carter was accepted into the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University. While at Michigan State, she became heavily involved in research through the department of Pathology with a focus on the study of stem cell research.

Jim Donahue is an alum from the class of 1975 at Jesuit High School. He attended the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law, graduating in 1982. He was admitted to the California Bar in December 1982. Mr.

Billy Downing is the CEO of Guidewell Education, a leading educational services firm with offices throughout the United States and Europe. Having spent over 20 years in the industry, Downing’s college admissions expertise and reputation as a straight-talking, caring, and insightful thought leader has fueled the company’s growth.
Rev. Michael Gilson, S.J.
Trustee
Father Gilson serves as the Socius to the Provincial for the Jesuits West Province of the Society of Jesus. He has taught at Jesuit High School in Sacramento; Brophy College Preparatory in Phoenix; Saint Ignatius College Preparatory in San Francisco; and Muffles College in Belize, Central America. He is currently serving on the Jesuit Schools Network Board of Directors and the Holy Cross College Board of Trustees.
Kevin Gini

Kevin possesses 29 years of construction experience and began his career with Collins Electrical Co., Inc.’s Modesto Branch office as a teenager. Kevin represents the fourth generation leading the charge of Collins Electrical Company Inc. After his collegiate studies at California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, Kevin worked (5) years for two tilt-up construction General Contractors in the Southern California Market. In 1991, Kevin was invited back to join Collins Electrical Co., Inc.
Rev. Edwin B. Harris, S.J.

Fr. Edwin B. Harris, S.J., is now on his 4th “Tour of Duty” at Jesuit High School. He entered the Jesuits in 1963 after having graduated from St. Ignatius High School in San Francisco. Most of his active Jesuit career has been associated with Secondary Education, including assignments at St. Ignatius College Preparatory (San Francisco), Bellarmine College Preparatory (San Jose), and Jesuit High School (Sacramento). He has an MA in European History and an M.Div. in Theology.
John Lemmon ’72

John Lemmon is a third-generation Sacramentan with deep roots in our region’s business and civic communities. John grew up in Carmichael and is a proud member of Jesuit High School’s class of 1972. He went on to graduate summa cum laude with a degree in political science from the University of California at Davis in 1976 and earned a Juris Doctor degree in 1979 from UC Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.

Tim is owner of Murchison Builders, a project and construction management firm specializing in large, complex projects. Devoted to best practices in construction project delivery, Tim is the current chair of the board of the Construction Management Association of America, an organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of professional Construction and Program Management. This governing body is the leading industry organization driving the conversation of project delivery best practices.

Jeffrey F. Phelan has more than 35 years of experience in the construction and real estate development arenas. Since starting his own company, Phelan Development, in 2006, he has developed an excess of $5 billion in industrial, office and retail properties. In 2010, Phelan Development Company merged with DCT Industrial Trust, Inc., a publicly traded NYSE REIT with approximately 72 million square feet of distribution buildings across the United States. Amy Rogers, MD, PhD

Amy Rogers is a scientist, writer, educator, and community leader. After growing up in rural Minnesota, Amy pursued a career in medical research with an undergraduate degree in biochemical sciences from Harvard University followed by a combined MD/PhD program at Washington University in St. Louis. Her PhD studies in immunology asked questions about how a mother’s immune system tolerates the presence of an unborn child.
Terry Street ’72
Trustee
Terry is a Sacramento native and a graduate of Jesuit High School, Class of 1972. He graduated from the University of California with a BS in Civil Engineering in 1976. Terry is both a Licensed engineer and a licensed contractor in California. He is also a graduate of the Harvard Owner/President Management Program.
Terry worked for Roebbelen Contracting for 34 years, the last 16 as president and CEO. After retiring to consulting and multiple boards in 2012, he was hired by Clark Pacific in West Sacramento to grow and enhance their General Contracting Division.
Craig Zarro

Craig has been engaged in the commercial real estate industry for over 30 years working exclusively on the financing side. He is a co-founder of Sacramento based Preferred Capital Advisors, a boutique commercial real estate financing advisory firm. Craig is active member of the Sacramento community and is involved in several local organizations and charities including serving on the finance council at St. Ignatius Parish and Del Paso Country Club.
