Please remember to respect neighbors and use designated drop-off areas

Freshman and Sophomores – American River Drive*

Drop-off along American River Drive
No u-turns, please watch for bikers and pedestrians
Students walk and enter campus off American River Drive through gates by Parking Lot E
Remember always park on the school side of the street and be respectful of neighbors
Students should avoid crossing American River Drive, except at designated crosswalks

*Please note that even with some planned crosswalks and road construction on American River Drive, all drop-offs and pick-ups for Freshmen and Sophomores WILL CONTINUE as planned. These brief interruptions are being planned around the peak of school starting and ending. Thank you in advance for maintaining our regular policies.

Juniors and Seniors – near Chapel/Gym

Please enter through the main entrance (O’Donnell Entrance off Fair Oaks)
From there you will be guided to drop your student off near the Chapel or the Gym
Students must park in campus lots with a valid permit from Dean’s Office

Dress Code & Personal Appearance Policy
Includes examples and dress policies for standard, casual and dress attire

Jesuit High School believes that student appearance has an impact on attitude and behavior. It is the responsibility of parents to see that their student is properly dressed and groomed for school. Students are expected to adhere to the dress code throughout the school day and they are to be properly groomed at school-sponsored events. Violations will result in detention (JUG). Students found to be in flagrant or repeated violation may be denied entrance into class and/or sent home from school.

Jesuit has two official stores and an Exchange closet. Our two authorized sales providers operate independently of each other and offer different items. Please check your receipt if you are unsure where you made your purchase. PE Clothes are available for purchase through the Cove, in-store only.

School Locker Request
Complete the form to secure your locker for 2024-2025

Student Lockers will be available upon request only. All students interested in having an on-campus locker for the 2024-2025 school year must complete the form below. Once the form is completed, the student will receive an email on their Jesuit email account with his locker number and combination. We will begin sending “locker assignment emails” out to students on August 12, 2024. Locker assignments are not available prior to that date. We will continue to process locker requests after classes begin.

Permits are $40 for the 2024-2025 school year and are now available for purchase. Permits from the 2023-2024 school year are no longer valid. Purchase online by clicking the link above and pick up in the Dean’s Office starting Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

About the Retreat

The Freshmen Overnight Retreat will be August 24-25, 2024! This kick-off to your son’s four years at Jesuit is a highlight of Freshman year. Your son will spend the retreat with his upperclassman Big Brother, who will serve as a guide and mentor for your son as he begins his journey at Jesuit. Our newest marauders will be welcomed into the brotherhood, build camaraderie with their new classmates, and learn about campus life at Jesuit. Because the experience of the Freshman Retreat is so important for new students, participation in the entire retreat is MANDATORY for all Freshmen.

Jesuit High School Sacramento Renames Field to Honor Fallen Hero Shane Barnes ‘07
Jesuit will host the Barnes family during the dedication ceremony in conjunction with the season’s opening Friday night home football game under lights

SACRAMENTO, CA —Jesuit High School Sacramento is honored to announce the renaming of its iconic Loyola Field in Marauder Stadium to Chief Warrant Officer 2 Shane Barnes ‘07 Field. Barnes, a 2007 graduate of Jesuit Sacramento, served in the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment and was one of five U.S. service members who died in a tragic military training exercise over the Mediterranean Sea in November 2023. This dedication pays tribute to his life, legacy, and ultimate sacrifice in service to his country.

Effective Saturday, August 17, 2024, Jesuit High School Sacramento, in partnership with contracted agencies, will begin the initial phase of the pedestrian crosswalk construction on American River Drive adjacent to the campus between Jacob Lane and Piccadilly Circle.
