A message from our Student Executive Council

Dear Jesuit families,

As Mariah Carey says around the Christmas season… “It’s time!”  ’Tis the season of giving, and ’tis time for our annual food drive -Operation Cratchit. This isn’t only a food drive but an outstanding Jesuit tradition that goes back decades throughout Jesuit history. We’ve partnered again with the Stanford Settlement in North Sacramento to help our neighbors in need during the Christmas season. However, this would not be possible without your help. As we seek to be a community for and with others, we ask you to speak with your sons to plan how you can participate. Please contribute whatever you can.

We’re looking for hearty foods like cans of ready-to-eat soup, chili, peanut butter, and other non-perishables. Monetary donations are also accepted, as these funds go to families in the form of grocery gift cards to purchase other perishable foods such as meat and dairy products.

Donations are accepted on campus every morning before school from Monday, November 18, through Friday, December 6.  Look for the tractor-trailer provided by Elite Power in the parking lot near the Rugby Field.

Our goal this year is 100,000 pounds and 100% student participation. With your generous support, we CAN reach this number. Thank you in advance for your help and consideration,  and Happy Holidays!

Sincerely,

Jesuit Student Council
