Local law enforcement and the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) officials have seen an alarming influx of “rainbow” fentanyl (an extremely potent and dangerous synthetic opioid) in the greater Sacramento region that is being marketed to kids and young adults. Rainbow fentanyl can be found in many forms, including pills, powder, and blocks that can resemble sidewalk chalk or candy.
Previously we celebrated our four National Merit Semi-finalists; this week, we are proud to share and celebrate our 12 National Merit Commended Students! These students were among the top 50,000 of all PSAT test takers last year, which signifies a wonderful achievement and bodes well for their success on other standardized tests like the SAT.
